This is How Halifax is Commemorating Remembrance Day

This Monday, November 11th Nova Scotians will be commemorating Remembrance Day to pay tribute to armed forces members who lost their lives in the line of duty.

This is how Halifax is recognizing Remembrance Day this year:

The Royal Canadian Legion is holding its Halifax Remembrance Day Service at Grand Parade Square to honour and remember Canadian veterans.

The service will run from 11 am - 12:30 pm.

Parks Canada and the Halifax Citadel are joining in Remembrance Day commemorations starting at 11 am. The 1st Field Artillery Regiment will be firing a 21-gun salute at the front entrance of the Citadel before the firing of the noon gun.

The Army Museum will also be open from 10 am to 2 pm.
