A ten day fall hiking festival along the Cabot Trail and Northern Cape Breton. The festival features guided hikes , evening activities and the hiker distance award and a photo contest.
Early bird registration has now closed. Online Registration & payment will continue until Sept. 12, but after that date hikers must register at festival headquarters at St. John’s Hall, 35981 Cabot Trail, Ingonish, NS.
Our hiking schedule during the festival has changed on September 21st as a hiking trail has been closed for the season. Instead of hiking North River Little Falls and Red Island Trail, we are now going to be hiking Jigging Cove Lake at 10:00 am. and Freshwater Lake & Look-off beginning at 2:00 pm.
