After our hugely popular, ground-breaking, multi-performance collaboration with Thorgy Thor, Symphony Nova Scotia is thrilled to continue paving the way for greater 2SLGBTQIA+ representation and celebration in the orchestral world with New York drag queen, singer, and performer Monét X Change. Rising to fame after competing in the 10th season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and winning season four of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, Monét – who is known for her quick wit, powerful vocals, comedic chops, high-energy performances, and (of course) her pussycat wigs – performs music by Mozart, Bellini, and Puccini, along with hits by Dolly Parton, Nina Simone, and more.
* This performance may include strong language or content elements which might not be suitable for viewers under the age of 14.
Performances on Friday April 25 and Saturday April 26 at 7:30 pm.
